Once yu start making bread you begin to think about the best way to slice it. Sure, you can use a knife. We did for a while. we always ended up with slices that were too thick for a sandwich (unless that’s how you like it).
I searched for a way to get nice uniform slices every time. I chose the Bread Pal Bread Slicer. I have been 100% happy with it. I like the Bread Pal for two reasons:
- It’s foldable so that it can be stored away without taking up too much space.
- The grooves are cut at various distances apart so you can choose your desired slice thickness.
